MORRISON, EDITH MARGARET (HARRISON) It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Edith was the third child of Lelia (Curley) and Arthur Harrison. Born in Chipman, NB, on Feb. 28, 1919. Edith died peacefully on March 12, 2007 after a courageous battle against the aftermath of a stroke, at her late residence, Miramichi Senior Citizens Home. She attended St. Dunstan's Roman Catholic Church in Fredericton, was a past member of the CWL, member of the Fredericton Society of Artists, beloved teacher of mentally challenged children as well as children in the Fredericton area school system over the years and a member of the retired teachers association. Having spent the earlier years of her life in Chipman, NB, she moved to Fredericton in 1959 with her late husband Frank LeRoy Morrison and her chosen daughters: Marlene Love (Don) of Miramichi, NB and Linda Reid (David) of Fredericton, NB. Edith leaves behind sisters: Anne Dahl of Charlottetown, PEI, Jean Halford (Robert) of Waterloo, ON; Betty McNab (Frank) of Charlottetown, PEI; sisters in law: Lena & Blanche McDonough; Lillian Harrison; four grandchildren: Kim Bernard, Natalie Bernard Bolohan (Tom) all of London, ON; Dennis Brewer (Shannon) of St. Stephen, NB; Carolann (Brewer) Brennan (Dave) of Fredericton, NB; one great grandson: Cameron Scott Bolohan of London, ON. Edith is predeceased by: brothers: Cecil Harrison, Basil McDonough, George McDonough and Thomas McDonough. The family received visitors at Bell's Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 7-9 PM. Visitation at McAdam's Funeral Home, Fredericton on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Dunstan's Roman Catholic Church, Fredericton on Thursday at 12 Noon with Father Leon Creamer and Father Jerry White officiating. Burial will take place in Hermitage Cemetery, Fredericton later in the spring. In Edith's memory, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
