ARNOLD, VIOLET ANN The death of Violet A. Arnold of Fredericton, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Thursday, March 22nd, 2007. Born in New Waterford, NS, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Krofchick) Rostek and wife of Robert W. Arnold. Violet was a long time member of the Marysville United Church where she had been a member of the choir for 30 years. She is survived by her husband, Robert; sons, Brian (Margaret) of Fredericton, NB, Kimberley Arnold (Monette) of Florida, USA and daughter Mary Ellen Pittoello (Michael) of Amherst, NS; brothers, Frederick and Frankie of Lower Sackville, NS; sisters, Mary Musial (Charles) and Darlene Rostek all of New Waterford, NS; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; son, Blaine Arnold and sisters, Esther Mills, and Francis Durdle. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at The Marysville United Church on Monday, March 26th, 2007 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Joan Macdonald officiating. Interment will take place in the Alexander Gibson Memorial Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, memorial tributes may be made to the Blaine Arnold Memorial Kitchen at Marysville United Church.
