MOORE, SHIRLEY ANNE The passing of Shirley Ann Moore, of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late R. Douglas Moore, occurred on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 1, 1928 in Boston, MA, she was a daughter of the late Ira and Dorothy (Melanson) Caro. Shirley was a retired Credit Manager at the Beaverbrook Hotel. She was a member of Christ Church (Parish) Church, Fredericton, NB and was a great lover of music, nature and people. Shirley is survived by two sons, John (Bonnie) Moore of Halifax, NS and Paul (Terri) Moore of Fredericton, NB; four grandchildren, Ben, Kelly, Paige and Cole; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Shirley was predeceased by one brother, Robert Caro. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 2 pm from Christ Church (Parish) Church, 245 Westmorland Street, Fredericton, NB with Archdeacon John T. Sharpe officiating. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetic Association, New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation, or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
