Eileen Mabel Tiessen peacefully passed away in Regina September 28, 2008 from cancer at the age of 80. Eileen leaves her children Charlene (Curt) Talbot, Daryl (Diane) and Doug (Julie) and her six grandchildren. Eileen spent her formative years in Trossachs and Moose Jaw with her two sisters and two brothers. After completing her nursing and pastoring with her husband in Glenside, she spent the next 13 years serving in India where her husband Herb was tragically killed in 1970. After returning to Canada she nursed six years in Moose Jaw before spending 17 years at Canadian Bible College as Nurse and Director of Admissions. She was always actively involved in her church especially with Alpha. She will be greatly missed because of her love for people, her great faith and being a woman of prayer. In lieu of flowers donations may be made at the memorial service which will be held at Living Hope Alliance Church, Arcola Ave. East (1.5 km East of Prince of Wales Dr. Regina) Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 2:00 pm.
