KUUN, COUNT DR. GEZA Born June 30, 1916 in Budapest, passed away March 23, 2007 in Fredericton at the age of 90. He was predeceased by his wife, Daisy and his brother, Zsigmund. Dr. Kuun was from an historical Hungarian family born in Transylvania, now Romania. He left Europe in 1954 with his wife and two children. Geza was a Professor in political science at the St. Thomas University and at the University of New Brunswick. He taught International Relations and German at Ricker College in Houlton, Maine. Geza was a devoted man, a dear father and he taught his students with passion. We will remember him as a particularly gentle and humble person who was always kind and patient. With his departure he leaves behind, his two daughters, Ilona and Liz; and his three grandchildren, Thomas, Emilie and Jiri who were born and raised in Holland. The family welcomes you to honour Geza and give a final farewell to him at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton on Tuesday, March 27th from 6 to 8 PM. Father White will be present at the start of the visitation at 6 PM for prayers. A funeral mass will be held at St. Dunstan's Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday March 28th, 2007 at 12:00 pm.
