LEGERE, JANET MARY Janet Mary (Robichaud) Legere passed away in Chilliwack, British Columbia on April 4, 2007. She was a member of St. Mary's parish. Formerly of Fredericton, she was a member of St. Dunstan's Roman Catholic Church. Born in Rexton, NB on December 31, 1907 moving to Chipman and then to Fredericton, where she worked at the Hartt Shoe Factory and then at Palmer and McLellan Shoe Factory from 1922 until she retired in 1977. She and her husband Frank were actively involved with running the Progressive Conservative voting polls. Janet was a member of the Catholic Women's League for many years. Survived by her daughter Joanne (Legere) Pond; son Paul Legere; two sisters Viola (Roland) Deslauriers, Geraldine Hector; one brother Leo (Treva) Robichaud; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents William and Mary (Britton) Robichaud; husband Frank Legere; two brothers Fulton and Eddie; 4 sisters Katheline Robichaud, Frances Hersey, Mary Gallant, and Edna Foster.
