COHOON, W. EDWIN (COODIE) W. Edwin (Coodie) Cohoon, 77, of Moncton, with his loving family at his side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday April 7, 2007. Born in Trenton, NS, he was the son of the late William and Margaret (Campbell) Cohoon. Coodie was a retired Warrant Officer with the Canadian Armed Forces with 23 years service and a former Agent for Great-West Life Assurance Company, Moncton. He was a member of Moncton Legion Branch #6 and a former coach for Oromocto and Moncton Minor Hockey Associations. He enjoyed golfing, genealogy, dancing and photography but first and for most was his great love for his wife and children, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren who were very near and dear to him. Coodie will be sadly missed by his wife of 57 years, Ruth (MacArthur); daughters, Cathy Holder (Pat), Moncton, Cynthia (Cindy) Doherty (Tim), Riverview; sons, William (Bill) (Susan), Moncton, Ken (Shonna), Quispamsis, Terry (Francine), Riverview, Robby (Christine), Dieppe; grandchildren, Sean, Jeff, Jasmine, Willie, Maggie, Nicole, Mike, Shonna, Jessica, Danielle and Marc; great granddaughters, Keeley and Piper; sister, Aggie Cohoon, New Glasgow, NS; several nieces and nephews. Sisters-in-law, Margaret Langille (Sandy), Dale MacArthur, Betty MacArthur; brother-in-law, Ken MacArthur (Margaret), all of NS.
