BAMFORD, BERTON J. The death of Berton J. Bamford, of Boiestown, NB, occurred on April 15, 2007 at the Central NB Nursing Home. Born on December 14, 1920 in Boiestown, NB, he was the son of the late Elmer and Hazel (MacLellan) Bamford. Barton was a retired woods and mill worker. Berton is survived by one sister, Anna Mae of the USA; two brothers, Gordon and Perley, both of Ontario; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he is predeceased by three sisters, Vesta Robinson, Bessie and Greta Bamford; two brothers, Clarence and Harold Bamford. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon, NB on Monday April 16, 2007 from 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 17, 2007 at 2pm from Miramichi Valley Funeral Home with Rev. Beverly Daley officiating. Interment will take place at the Boiestown United Church Cemetery.
