THOMAS, CONSTANCE RUTH The death of Connie R. Thomas of Fredericton, NB occurred April 23, 2007 at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital at the age of 63. Born in Fredericton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Stewart and Helen (Smith) Mowry. Connie was a registered nurse, graduating in 1964 and beginning her career at the V.P.H.,on to Toronto and Wigan, England and retiring from the D.E.C.R.H. in 2005. She will be ever remembered for her humour and love of story telling. She is survived by her husband Bill Thomas; children Bronwen Thomas of Massachusetts, William Thomas wife Bronwen of Scotland; sister Doreen Lloyd of Stratford, Ont.; brothers Ronald Mowry of Fredericton, Gerald Mowry wife Anne of Charlottetown, PEI; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Glen. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road with visitation Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel on Friday April 27, 2007 at 2:00 pm with Canon Tom Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Sunny Bank Cemetery.
