HAWKES, STANLEY MELBOURNE The death of Stanley Melbourne Hawkes, 82, of Chipman, NB occurred Friday, May 11th, 2007 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Coal Mines, NB he was the son of the late Irvine and Almeda (Vail) Hawkes. Stanley is survived by brothers, Gerald of Chipman, Manley of Amherst and Clifford of Truro; sisters, Joyce Hawkes and Elsie Vail both of Chipman; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Arthur and Cecil; and by sisters, Jean and Ida. Resting at the United Pentecostal Church, Chipman where the family will receive visitors on Monday, May 14th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm and from where funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 15th, 2007. Pastor James McLaughlin will officiate. Interment will follow in the United Pentecostal Cemetery.
