LEROY LAWRENCE KEILTY

KEILTY, LEROY LAWRENCE LeRoy Lawrence Keilty, beloved son, brother and uncle, passed away at 63 years of age on June 09, 2007 with his family by his side at the Carleton Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. LeRoy was the son of Lloyd and Winnifred Keilty. He is survived by his mother Winnifred (Lutwick) Keilty, sister, Patricia (Lester) Grant of Canterbury as well as 6 nieces, Theresa, Veronica, Pamela, Angela, Melissa & Tabatha. 1 nephew, Rocky, numerous great nieces, nephews and special friends Tom, Hector and Rose from Calgary. Predeceased by his father Lloyd Keilty. LeRoy served with the Canadian Army at Gagetown and as a peacekeeper in Germany from 1963 - 1966. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He also was a lumber grader and St. Anne Nackawic employee before moving to Calgary where he resided for 28 years. He returned back home for the past 5 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cribbage and reading. There will be no visitation or service by request. Private burial will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Thomas Catholic Church of Canterbury hall fund or to any charity of the donor's choice. The family wishes to thank the staff of Carleton Memorial Hospital especially Dr. Michael Chandra, the nursing staff of the 2nd floor and Dow's special care home.
