MRS. LEOLA MILDRED DOAK
DOAK, MRS. LEOLA MILDRED Mrs. Leola Mildred Doak, widow of Edison Doak of 12 Miramichi, Doaktown NB, passed away Sunday evening at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, at the age of 84. Born in Blissfield NB, she was the daughter of the late Elvin & Mildred (Story) Holmes. She was a homemaker and a member of United Pentecostal Church, Doaktown, NB. She was a member of Doaktown Senior Citizens Club, she was an avid singer and harmonica player. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by three daughters; Priscilla Pitcher of Fredericton; Gayle Bell of New Market ON; Deanna Johnston of Victoria BC; one son; Glen Doak (Melody) of Markham ON; 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one daughter Betty, one son Blair, three brothers; Wilson, Orran & Glen Holmes. Mrs. Leola Mildred Doak will be resting at United Pentecostal Church, Doaktown, with visitation today from 2-4 & 7-9. The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday June 20, at 2 p.m. from United Pentecostal Church, Doaktown, with Pastor Russell Moorehouse officiating. Burial will follow in Ford Hollow Cemetery, Blissfield. At the request of the family donations to NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or a memorial of ones choice would be appreciated.
