HUMPHREY, JAMES E. (TED) The passing of James E. (Ted) Humphrey, husband of Myrtis (Dickie) Humphrey, occurred on June 18, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 22, 1925 in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late James and Rita (Weir) Humphrey. Ted always loved being by the ocean, he spent many summers vacationing at Point DuChene, NB, after his retirement he spent time in Malagash, NS. Ted will be remembered in NS for his courier business ZOT Transportation. Ted was a Veteran of WWII in the Merchant Marines as a wireless operator. Beside his wife of 59 years Myrtis, Ted is survived by his only daughter, Jane Dick of Fredericton, NB; his grandsons Michael Dick of Waterloo and Josh Dick (Lisa) of Fredericton. Besides his parents, Ted is predeceased by one sister and two brothers. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, June 21, 2007 from 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place from York Funeral Home's, T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, June 22, 2007 at 1 pm with Canon Jon Lownds. Interment will take place at Fair Haven Memorial Cemetery, Moncton, NB.
