Andrie, Daniel It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Andrie on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at the age of 84. Dan is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lydia; sons Allan (Dodie) and Wayne (Debbie); daughter-in-law Lorie (Rod) Heisler; grandchildren Marcie (Ryan) Chute, Davin Andrie, Daniel J. Andrie, Danae Andrie, Jillaine Andrie, Hannah Heisler, Jacob Heisler and great-grandson Rhett Chute. He will be fondly remembered by his sisters Eva (Nick) Stratulat and Rose (Harry) Boyenko and by his brothers Wes (Helen) Andrei and John (Lydia) Andrie, his aunt Jenny Andrei, as well as numerous nieces, nephew's and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Toma and Flora Andrei; his son Daniel T. Andrie; brothers Eli Andrie, Con Andrie and Sager Andrie. Dan was born on the farm in Ormiston, Saskatchewan and had resided in Moose Jaw since 1946. He worked in Moose Jaw at many different jobs, proudly serving on the Police Force for 14 years. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20, 2008 at the Alliance Church at the corner of Thatcher and 9th Ave. in Moose Jaw, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
