Matilda Klepsch

Matilda Klepsch passed away peacefully at Pioneer Lodge, Moose Jaw on October 16, 2008 at the age of 95 years. Born in Bayard, Saskatchewan in 1913, she married Martin Klepsch in 1932. The couple farmed in the Bayard district until retiring to Moose Jaw in 1973. Predeceased by her husband, Martin; brothers: Rudolph and Edward Gross, sister, Eva Klepsch, Matilda is survived by two daughters: Bernice (Bob) Sperling, Grace (Willie) Rehm; grandchildren: Denise (Ed) Harrison, Tim (Bonnie) Schneider, Curt (Carol) Schneider, Kelvin (Kim) Rehm and Rob (Denise) Rehm; great-grandchildren: Keri, Marissa, Tiarra, Brianne, Abby, Quintin, Clayton and three great-great-grandchildren: Ronan, Nolan and Eva, also surviving are her sisters: Anne, Victoria and Elsie, and brother, Adolph. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Church of Our Lady. Father Tony Sevali C.S.Sp. will preside. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. An evening prayer service will be held Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home. For those so wishing, memorials may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St. W., Moose Jaw, S6H 2M2. In living memory of Matilda, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J.
