O'DONNELL, VINA ETHEL The passing of Vina Ethel O'Donnell , of McNamee, NB wife of the late Johnston O'Donnell, occurred on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Carrolls Crossing, NB, she was the daughter of the late David and Mary Ann (Stewart) Lyons. She was a member of St. John Anglican Church, Carroll's Crossing, NB. Vina was a member of the ACW and Orange Lodge. She was an avid Bingo player, loved to knit, play Ship Bo and 45's. She was the last living member of her immediate famiy. She is survived by sons, David (Vera), Donald (Sheila), Frederick (Rose) and Richard (Edith) O'Donnell; daughters, Henrietta Hood and Velma (Lawrence) O'Donnell; 32 grandchildren; 62 great- grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Vina is predeceased by her sons; Cyril, Nathan and James; daughter, Lydia Christina "Teeny"; brothers, Theodore, Manford and Elwood Lyons; sisters, Melissa Neilson, Lydia O'Donnell, Maggie Gough, Etta Wycoff, Grace Parker and Hazel Stewart; grandson, Jeff Hood; son-in-law, Lloyd Hood; daughters-in-law, Edna, Ivy and Peggy. Visitation will take place at St. John's Anglican Church, Carroll's Crossing, NB on Thursday, July 12, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will take place at the church on Friday, July 13, 2007 at 11 am with Father Andrew Fraser officiating. Pallbearers for the service are Manley Price, Chris O'Donnell, Kirk O'Donnell, Ted O'Donnell, Kevin Howe and Mark Hood; Honorary Pallbearers, Connie Howe, Bonnie Christie, Vera Long, Bonnie Clowater, Anne Price, Valene Lyons, Judy Morehouse and Ruthene Storey. Interment will take place in St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, Carroll's Crossing. For those who wish, remembrances to St. John's Anglican Church or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
