Magee Mrs. Jessie Magee (Nee: Jolly) passed away on Saturday October 18, 2008 at the Extendicare Nursing Home, Moose Jaw. Jessie was born at Mossbank, Saskatchewan on May 17, 1910. She received her education at Mossbank, after which she attended Normal School in Moose Jaw. She taught till her marriage to James Magee in 1932. In 1955 the couple moved to make their home in Moose Jaw. Jessie was a member of the Mossbank Curling Club for many years and continued curling for many more years after moving to Moose Jaw. She was a lifetime member of the Cosmo Club, Moose Jaw District Senior Citizens Association, the Scandinavian Club and very active in bowling and loved a game of cards. Predeceased by father and mother: Robert and Louise Jolly, her husband; James (1973) and her son Lorne (1995), two sisters: Nellie Barton and Isabel Sheehan, two brothers: Harry and William Jolly. She is survived by two sisters: Florence Jackson and Beatrice Bjornerud, both of Regina as well as several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Jessie's wishes a private family graveside service will be held at the family plot at Rosedale Cemetery. A Memorial Tea will be held at the W.J.Jones and Son Family Center on Wednesday October 22, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Rev. Dave Moore will share a few memories of Jessie at this time. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Saskatchewan Heart and Stroke Foundation 279 3rd Ave. N. Saskatoon, Saskatchewan S7K 2H8 or to the Extendicare Memorial Fund 1151 Coteau St. W.
