MARY (RITA) (BRIDEAU) BEEK
BEEK, MARY (RITA) (BRIDEAU) The passing of Mary (Rita) (Brideau) Beek, of Chatham, N.B., wife of the late Turnie Beek, occurred on Saturday, July 14th, 2007 at Mount St. Joseph's Nursing Home. Born on March 27, 1922 in Tracadie, N.B., she was a daughter of the late Israel and Celina Brideau. Rita was affiliated with St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Doaktown, N.B. Rita is survived by five daughters, May Mullins (Andy) of PEI, Sheila O'Donnell (Donald) of Doaktown, N.B, Minnie Lyons (Kenny) of McNamee, N.B, Deanna Beek (Tony) of Doaktown, N.B and Lana Burke (Billy) of Ludlow, N.B.; nine sons, Ralph (Jeneeve) Beek of Ripples, N.B, Billy (Genevieve) Beek, Stafford (Patty) Beek, Bryce (Sherry) Beek and Wilson (Heather) Beek all of Doaktown, N.B, Donnie (Cathy) Beek of McNamee, N.B, Doyle (Margo) Beek and Hal (Norma) Beek both of British Columbia and Vinta (Linda) Beek of Newcastle, N.B.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Delin Brideau and Mary Anne Kelly (Lawrence) both of Tracadie, N.B.; one son-in-law, Ray Peters of Ludlow, N.B.; one brother-in-law, Wilfred Thibodeau of Tradcadie, N.B.; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Mary was predeceased by two daughters, Janet and Alice Peters; one sister, Josephine Thibodeau; and three bothers. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, N.B. on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Doaktown, N.B, on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at 2 pm with Rev Andrew Fraser officiating. Interment will take place at St. Andrew's Anglican Church Cemetery.
