WOOD, LAURIE A Laurie A. Wood, on July 18th, at the Palliative Care Health Unit, Minto, NB after a courageous fight with cancer. Survived by his loving wife Aggie (Roberts-Bodechon), one son, William (Bill) (Debbie) of Minto; daughters, Gladys (Sam) Williams of Salmon Creek, Cathy (Rolly) Hachey of Barnesville; step children, Allen (Debbie) of Saint John, Kevin (Lynn) of Saint John, Ann (Jacques) Marcheterre of Ottawa, and Iris Bodechon of Saint John, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 6 step grandchildren. Predeceased by parents Jenny and Fred, his first wife, Mary (Lorette), infant son, Laurie Jr., one daughter, Jean (John) Randall, and one grandson, William Jr. Laurie was the last surviving member of his family. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) with visitation (today) Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, July 20th, 2007 at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, Minto with Rev. Garth Maxwell officiating.
