KELLY, DONALD ARTHUR OSWALD At the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital on July 17, 2007, Donald Kelly, of Fredericton, formerly of Saint John passed away at the age of 98. Born in Fairville, NB he was a son of the late Perry and Ella (Catherwood) Kelly. Donald is the last surviving member of his immediate family. He served overseas with the Canadian Armed Forces from 1942 to 1946. He then became a shoe salesman, then manager of MRA's Department store until it's closure in 1972. He then moved on to Kennedy's Shoe Store until 1977. Donald was a life member of the Golden K's. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Evelyn; one son David Kelly and his wife Linda of Fredericton; grandson Peter Kelly; granddaughter Jennifer Kelly-Milner and her husband William all of Fredericton; two nieces Joanne Miller of Saint John and Jane Hutton of Quispamsis; one nephew Donald Kelly of Saint John. Predeceased by half sisters; Flo, Lottie, Hazel, Grace and by full sisters; Jean, Ruth, Mary and Dorothy also by one brother Burt. No visitation by request of the family. A funeral service will be held on Saturday July 21, 2007 at 11:00 am at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton with Rev Bill MacLeod officiating.
