Jaschinsky, Wendell Wendell was born on July 17, 1925 on the family farm NE 30-12-23 and died peacefully at the Union Hospital on October 16, 2008 with his good friend Walter at his side. Wendell was 83. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Magdelina, his wife Angelina, 7 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by one brother Fred, and 4 stepchildren, John Adams, Agnes Fall, Hilda Maier and Evelyn Chaput. He will be fondly remembered by his nephew, his nieces and his good friends Carol and Walter Ingold. In 1980, Wendell married Angelina Dombowsky. At that time he moved to Moose Jaw where he resided until his passing on Thursday. Wendell and Angelina traveled extensively throughout Canada, the US, the Caribbean, Belgium, Germany and in 1997 enjoyed a Black Sea Cruise. Wendell started farming in 1949 and continued farming on the home place until 2003 when he leased his land out. Farming was Wendell's life and he continued making trips out to the farm and Avonlea, his home town. A prayer service will be held on Friday, at 7:00 p.m. at the Church of Our Lady, 566 Vaughan St in Moose Jaw. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25th, at 10:00 a.m. with Father Tony Sevali C.S. Sp., presiding. An interment will follow at Claybank Cemetery.
