BROWN, ALVIN HAROLD The death of Alvin Brown of Hardwood Ridge, NB, occurred Monday, August 6th, 2007 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton. Born in Newcastle Bridge, NB, he was the husband of Netta (Daamen) Brown and the son of the late Harold and Jessie (Muir) Brown. Alvin is survived by his wife Netta; two sons, Harold of Fort McMurray, AB, and Peter (Tamara) of Fredericton; two daughters, Elizabeth (Maurice Bourgeois) Quigley of Minto, and Rhonda Hartjes of Oromocto; one sister Marion (Martin) Daamen of Saint John; five grandchildren, Kendall, Katie, Mathew, Odessa, and Liam; many nieces and nephew; and many cousins. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 9th, 2007 from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Kenneth Weir officiating. Interment will take place in St. Bridget's Cemetery with a reception to follow in the church hall.
