FOX, KATHLEEN MARION JUNE "KAY" The death of Kathleen Marion June "Kay" Fox of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Thursday, August 16th, 2007. Born in Pokiok, NB, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Robena (Pickard) Calhoun and the wife of the late Medley A. Fox. Kay was employed at the University of New Brunswick for 26 years. Kay was the first recipient of the President's Medal. This prestigious award recognized her exemplary service to the Registrar's Office as supervisor of Data Control and Reception. Her positive impact on students and colleagues left a lasting impression. Kay was a longtime member of the IODE, Sir Leonard Tilley Chapter. She enjoyed modeling for various fundraising causes sponsored by numerous Fredericton Merchants and she was an avid bridge player. Foremost Kay was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and friend to those whose lives she touched. Kay's charisma reflected by her beautiful smile and joyous laughter would light up any room she entered. Kay will be dearly missed and be forever in our hearts. Survived by three sons, Mark (Liedy) of Fredericton, Gregory (Diane) of Fredericton and Blake (Joanne) of Bedford, NS; nine grandchildren, Jena, Jared, Jill, Marie, Brittany, Jordan, Makenzie, Wesley, and Samuel Fox; brothers and sisters, Joyce Griffin (Phillip), Robert Calhoun (Esther), Charles Calhoun (Gloria), and Nancy Campbell (Elias). Predeceased by her parents, husband, Medley. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Sunday, August 19th, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral service will be held at St. Paul's United Church on Monday, August 20th, 2007 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Paul Ross will officiate. Interment will be in the Otis Cemetery, Nackawic, NB.
