McINTYRE, JOSEPH ALEXANDER In loving memory of Joseph Alexander "Sandy" McIntyre, 84 years, Wednesday, August 15th, 2007 at his residence. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Hawke) McIntyre predeceased 1995. Loving father of Sandra McConnell of Brighton. Cherished grandfather of Andrew (wife Karen), Daniel, Emily and Brian. Dear companion of Claudine Marin of Lively. Dear son of the late John and Anita McIntyre both predeceased. Dear brother of Rita Manuel of Cornwall, Katherine and Gerald both of Fredericton, N.B., Duncan of Toronto, and Joe, Lawson and John all of Chatham, N.B., he married Dorothy in Sudbury in 1950. Sandy was a World War II veteran and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Lively Branch. He worked as a miner at the INCO Creighton Mine for over 30 years retiring in 1983. Sandy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and living life to the fullest. A Celebration of Sandy's life will be held at the Meadowbrook Village, 18 Jacobson Dr., Lively, Saturday, September 15th, 2007 from 1-4 p.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the SRH - Heart Equipment Fund would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home, Sudbury.
