SELLICK, GERTRUDE MAY (ELGEE) The passing of Gertrude May (Elgee) Sellick, wife of the late Lloyd W. Sellick, of Cross Creek, NB, occurred on August 20, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 9,1916, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Dora May (Reid) Elgee. Gertrude was a member of Cross Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Bernice Talbot (Lesley) of Stanley; two sons, Avon Sellick and Walter Sellick (Jocelyn) all of Cross Creek; grandchilderen, Craig and Martin Button and Frank Jewett (Joan); great grandson, Dillon; one sister, Muriel Needles of Stanley. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her grandson, Luke Sellick; one sister, Cora Elgee; two brothers, Perley and Jack Elgee. Visitation will take place at The "Son-Shine Room" of Cross Creek Baptist Church on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A Funeral Service will be held from the church on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at 2 pm with Pastor Gordon Mowry officiating. Internment will take place in the Cross Creek Baptist Cemetery.
