DUFF-LYONS, ARIANA LEE The passing of Ariana Lee Duff-Lyons, of McGivney, NB, occurred on August 25, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton. Born on October 21, 1998, she was a daughter of Shannon Duff ("2nd Dad" Jimmy Brideau) and Mike Lyons (Nicole LeBlanc). Ariana enjoyed coloring, arts & crafts and creating things. She also loved animals, especially her cats. Ariana attended South Portage Baptist Bible Church and the McNamee Pentecostal Church. Besides her parents, Ariana is survived by two brothers, Tayber Lyons of Doaktown, NB and Dawson Brideau of McGivney, NB; two sisters, Ocean Lyons of Doaktown, NB and Abbie Burke of Cape Breton, NS; maternal grandparents, Edna Peterson (Hal) of Australia; paternal grandmother, Sharon Price of New Bandon, NB; great-grandparents, John Collins of McGivney, NB, Mary Lyons of New Bandon, NB, and Dorothy Duff of McGivney, NB. Ariana was predeceased by her great-grandmother, Paulina Collins; and grandfather, David Duff. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Monday from 7 to 9 pm, Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place at the McGivney Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to a charity of donor's choice and would be appreciated by the family.
