McFARLAND, ALICE E.O. On Monday, August 27th, 2007, Alice E.O. McFarland of Fredericton passed away at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital at the age 89. Born in Millville, NB she was a daughter of the late Beverly and Jane (Staples) Barnett and wife of the late Alvin L. McFarland. Alice was a homemaker and affiliated with the Devon Park Baptist Church. Survived by daughters Patricia West (Laurie) of Fredericton, Laurel Wilkins (Myles) of Waasis Rd.; sons Beverley of Fredericton, Ellery (Sonya) of Kitchener, Ont.; brother Edward Ferris of Fredericton; sisters Margaret Saunders and Kathleen Taylor both of Fredericton; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a daughter Sharon Eveline; brothers Lewis and Hazen; sisters Gladys, Viola, Lucy, Queenie, and Myrtle. Visitation will be Wednesday August 29, 2007 at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Rd. from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday August 30, 2007 at 2:00 pm from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel, 540 Woodstock Rd. with Pastor Mark Noel officiating.
