WILLIAMS, ALEXIS CATHERINE AUGUST 27, 1975 The Lord gives and the Lord takes away, Blessed be the name of the Lord. Alexis Catherine Williams was called home unexpectedly to her Lord on Tuesday, August 28, 2007. She was the beloved daughter of Richard "Dick" and Lillian Williams; cherished sister, sister-in-law and aunt to Scott, Joanne, Taylor, Micah and Tori Williams. Sharing in our grief is Alexis' special friend, Denis Leger; she is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. member of Devon Park Baptist Church she was involved in the lives of many and loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Having worked for eleven years in the pharmacy at Shoppers Drug Mart, she was currently employed as a legal assistant at Stewart McKelvey for the past two years, where she thoroughly enjoyed her job and the people. Visitation will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, August 30, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Celebration of Alexis's life will take place at Devon Park Baptist Church on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 2 pm with Pastor Lawrence Meade officiating and Pastor Chris Emery and Rev. Bob Dunlop assisting. Pallbearers for the service will be: Charles Bird, Larry Bishop, Mark D'Entremont, Scott Dykeman, Aubrey Gaines and Jeff Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Valerie Cook, Irvine and Marjorie Curtis, Wayne Hossack, Crista LeBlanc, Joey Richards and Aaron Savage. Interment will take place in the Seymour Memorial Cemetery, Kingsley, NB. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Devon Park Baptist Church Building Fund or a charity of the donors choice.
