Eileen Skelton of Moose Jaw passed away peacefully on November 3, 2008 at the age of 89 years. Eileen was a telephone operator at Briercrest for a number of years. She enjoyed walking and cooking - it wasn't uncommon that meals in the field were a full course meal. She was also a fabulous baker, often asked to share her goodies at functions and her Russian Toffee was published in a cookbook for Detroit Public T.V. Predeceased by her husband Gordon, son Blaine, brothers: George, Gerald and Bob and her sister Barb, Eileen will be sadly missed by her sons: Monte (Peggy) and Garry (Helene); grandchildren: Quin (Noreen), Lance, Les (Rhonda), Thomas and Stephen; great-grandchildren: Kristen and Jace, brother Larry; sisters: Bonnie, Dorie and Audrey as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held in the Spring 2009. Interment has taken place at Sunset Cemetery.
