KENNEDY, LEOLA VERA The death of a wonderful person, Leola Vera Kennedy of 78 years occurred September 24th, 2007 at the W.G. Bishop Nursing Home after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Leola was the beloved wife of Eugene Jasper (Tim) Kennedy of Chipman, and daughter of the late Fred and Helen (Davidson) Nightingale, originally from Minto. She is survived by daughters Dawn (Jim) Brogan of Fredericton, Judy (Jack) Flanagan of Miramichi, Diana (Ken) Wentworth of Calgary, Nancy (Doug) LaPaire of Quispamsis; by son Tim (Shelley) Kennedy of St. Thomas; sisters Evelyn Davidson of Fredericton, Shirley (Don) Steele of Toronto; brother Wayne (Shirley) Nightingale of Fredericton; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; Predeceased by brother Estwood Nightingale and infant brother Howard Nightingale. Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Friday when funeral service will be held from the Christian Life Centre at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dwayne Copeland officiating. Interment in the Red Bank United Cemetery, followed by reception at the Chipman United Church Hall. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m..
