Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, February 5, 2008, June Walker (Pomeroy) of Brigus, aged 82 years. Predeceased by her parents, William and Mae Pomeroy, husband, Frank, daughter, Doreen, sister, Ruth Vinicombe (Noel), brothers-in-law: Edward, Doug Tiller and Dave White; sisters-in-law: Sister Jerome, Theresa Wade (John). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories son Geoffrey (Karen); brother Capt. Clarence S. Pomeroy (Laura); sister Wilma Tiller; sisters-in-law: Mary White and Dorothy J. Walker; special niece Dougie Lidster; four grandchildren: Jerry, Krystina, Greg and Donnie; also a large number of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Broughton's Funeral Home, Brigus with visitation on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m, Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral to take place on Friday, February 8, 2008 at 2 p.m. from the Brigus United Church with interment to follow in the R.C.
