LEORA MAUDE (CURTIS) A McCOY

McCOY, LEORA MAUDE (CURTIS) A gracious woman who retained honor. She left her family a greater inheritance than wealth could ever obtain, "Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above Rubies". She left a Christian foundation on which to build our futures. When we were sick, she prayed, When we were in trouble, she prayed, When we were upset, she prayed, When someone done us wrong, she prayed. She opened her mouth in skillful and Godly wisdom and on her tongue was the law of kindness; she stretched out her hand to the poor. Her children rise up and call her Blessed. Born and raised in Grey Rapids on the Miramichi, she left home as a young lady at the age of 19 to move to Fredericton where she and Donald became husband and wife.
