COLE, MURRAY G. The passing of Murray Gerald Cole occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB on November 19, 2007 at the age of 80. Born April 28, 1927 at Jacksonville, NB, he was the son of the late Hedley H. and Ethel M. (Greer) Cole. Murray was a Taxi Driver for over 35 years retiring in 1992. He has been a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No.4, Fredericton, since 1959. Murray is survived by his four sisters, Winona Stoddard of Grand Bay-Westfield, Juanita Pollock of Fredericton Junction, Elaine Morton (Gregory) of Fredericton and Linda Lister (Murray) of Harvey; 9 nieces and 5 nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews; one aunt, Marion Clark of Southampton, NB. Predeceased by his parents; his spouse, Mavis Perry and brothers-in-law, Eugene Stoddard and George Pollock. At Murray's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Following cremation, a private interment will be held in the Harvey Community Cemetery. Murray has requested memorial contributions be sent to the Canadian Red Cross or War Amps.
