LACEY, WENDELL HOLDEN The death of Wendell H. Lacey formerly of Gagetown, NB occurred at the Veteran's Health Unit, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, November 21st, 2007. Beloved husband of 68 years of the late Helen (MacAlpine) Lacey. Survived by two sons, Lloyd R. (Janet) Lacey of Edmonton, AB and G. Blair (Marsha) Lacey of St. Stephen, NB; three daughters, Marie (Jack) Keirstead of Fredericton, NB, Audrey (Frank) Hand of Rothesay, NB and Joan (Harry) Cooper of Garnet Settlement, NB; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, as well as one sister, Muriel Holder of Gagetown, NB. Predeceased by his wife, Helen (MacAlpine) Lacey; one son, Karl Lacey and one sister, Myrtle Holder. There will be no visitation by request. The funeral service will be held from the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home Chapel (357-5100) on Monday, November 26th, 2007 at 11:00 am with Rev. Robert Jones officiating. Following the service there will be a tribute held by The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #93. Interment will follow in the Upper Hampstead Cemetery.
