ELLIS, ROBERT Peacefully at the General Hospital, in Kingston, Ontario, surrounded by the love of his family, on Saturday, November 24, 2007. Bob Ellis, in his 75th year, fondly remembered by Marie, his companion of 30 years. Beloved father of Brian Ellis (Jackie) of Oshawa, Dawn DiDomenico (Rory Thornton) of Kingston and John Ellis (Elisabeth) of Victoria, BC. Devoted grandfather of Whitney and Arielle DiDomenico and Mac Ellis. Dear step-father of Carol Robinson, Sandra Turner, Kevin, Eldon and Richard Brown, as well as their families. Loved brother of Roy Ellis (Shirley), Mary Dobbelstyne (Joe), Barbara Sherwood (Glen), and their families. Predeceased by his parents, Charles and Gladys Ellis and sister Margaret Masse. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Boulevard), Kingston. Friends will be received on Wednesday, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service in the chapel, on Thursday, November 29 at 11:00 am. The Venerable Edward N. Dallow officiating. Cremation to follow with inurnment at Church of the Good Shepherd Cemetery, in Saint John, NB, at a later date.
