Muriel Gladys Mayor passed away in the Regina General Hospital on Friday, November 21, 2008 at the age of 77 years. Muriel was born at Eyebrow, SK on December 25, 1931. Predeceased by her special friend Jim Young and parents Percy and Laura Mayor, she is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Eunice and Bill Chapman of Hampton, New Hampshire; niece Shelley (Rick) and their daughter Elise of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, nephew William (Pamela) and their sons William and Graham of Bolton, Massachusetts and nephew Scott (Lisa) and their sons Keyton and Trevor of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. In keeping with Muriel's wishes, there will be no funeral service. A Tea to Celebrate Muriel's life will be held at W. J. Jones & Son Family Centre, 262 Athabasca St. E., on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 from 2 - 4 pm. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials to the Moose Jaw Health Foundation, 455 Fairford St.E., S6H 1H3, would be appreciated. In living memory of Muriel, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
