GILBEY, MARGARET "PEGGY" The passing of Margaret "Peggy" Gilbey occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on December 7th, 2007, at the age of 86. Margaret was a resident of Curtis Special Care Home, Douglas, NB. She was born August 9, 1921 in New Glasgow, NS. Her mother, the late Margaret Tracy; her husband, H. Leroy "Roy" Gilbey; and brothers, Robert and David, all predeceased her. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Margaret is survived by a son, Leonard Gilbey (Debbie) of Hanwell, NB; and a daughter, Charlene Cyr (Dave) of Eastern Passage, NS; four grandchildren, Krista Grieve (Jeff) of Harvey, NB, Monica Cenerini (Richard), Mike Cyr (Laura) and Mark Cyr (Tammy) all of NS; and nine great grandchildren. There will be no visitation and the funeral service will be private. Interment will be held at a later date. Memorials to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
