GARDINER-STEVENSON, A. ISABEL Miramichi - Alice Isabel Gardiner-Stevenson, widow of the late Robert N. Stevenson, of the Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Monday evening, December 10th, 2007 at the age of 77. Born in Point Gardiner on January 15th, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Annie J. (Chapman) Gardiner. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Bay du Vin. She is survived by one daughter, Joyce Adams (Mark) of Black River Bridge; two sons, Neil Stevenson (Paula) of Bay du Vin and Joel Stevenson of Fredericton; one sister, Jean Dunning of Winnipeg, Manitoba; two grandchildren, Nathaniel (Moe) and Jared M.; one granddaughter by choice, Krissy; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert, in 1978; one grandchild Taylor Dawn; four sisters, Alice, Edith Pearl, Lorraine, Elizabeth; six brothers, Wilfred, Jimmy, Tommy, Harry, Robert Secord, and Beatie. By request, visitation will be one hour before the service only on December 13th. The funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Thursday, December 13th, 2007 at 11 am, conducted by Rev. Richard Steeves. Interment will be in Bay du Vin, at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
