EBBETT-PUGH, CAROLYN VIRGINIA The passing of Carolyn Virginia Ebbett-Pugh of Fredericton, NB, occurred on December 15, 2007 at the home of her sister Shirley Margaret Murdock, Fredericton. Born on August 8, 1936 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late C. Nelson R. Scott and Mary "May" McLaren (Scott) Myles. Carolyn worked in food services at York Manor and numerous restaurants. Carolyn loved her cats and reading poetry. Carolyn is survived by her special friend, Peter O. Dickinson; one daughter, Marjory (William) Hancox of Fredericton, NB; two sisters, Shirley Margaret Murdock of Fredericton and Heather Scott (David Sinstadt) of Fredericton, NB; one step brother, Edward Smith of Fredericton, NB; two grandchildren, Elizabeth (Geordie) Andrews and Margaret Hancox; two great grandchildren, Emma and Isaac; one niece, Morgan; and one nephew, Taylor. Besides her parents, Carolyn is predeceased by three sisters, Mary Patricia (Patty), Margaret Helen (Peggy) who were identical twins, and Marjory Eleanor (Mardie). Private visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB. A private family only memorial service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, December 17, 2007 at 2pm with Canon John Cathcart officiating. Interment will take place at the St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church Cemetery at a later date. Donations made to the Fredericton SPCA or to the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
