Irene May (nee Engelhardt) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at the age of 87 years. She was predeceased by her husband Orval; brothers Norman and Kenneth Engelhardt. Left to mourn her passing and honour her memory are her children Linda (Ron) Nykolaychuk, Doug (Barb) Measner, Laurel (Ken) Roberts and Shirley (Dave) Schroeder; grandchildren Jamie-Dee, Brandie, Dallas, Bree-Ann, Dayle, Randall, Kurtis and Jennifer; 10 great-grandchildren; and close friend Alex MacKay. Irene was born and raised in the Kindred District near Holdfast. Upon marrying Orval, the two resided in Moose Jaw where their first child was born. They then moved to Regina where they remained to raise their family. Irene loved knitting, crocheting, reading and attending family activities. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Bester and the staff of Regina General Hospital, Unit 5E. A VISITATION will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 from 1:30-2:30 with a Graveside Service and Reception to follow.
