(Bill) Rekunyk 1928 - 2008, Dunkirk, Sask. Bill Rekunyk passed away peacefully at Craik Health Centre Sunday November 16, 2008. He spent all his time on the original family farm raising livestock and grain at Dunkirk, 50 kilometers south of Moose Jaw. Bill enjoyed the country life and had many successful years farming. He was predeceased by his father Carl, brother Orest and survived by his mother Nellie of Leduc, sister Olga MacLeod of Wetaskiwin, AB. nieces Jerry and Joanne of Calgary, Diana of Stoney Plain, AB, nephews Jeff of Calgary and Brent of Ardrossan, AB. At Bill's request he was cremated with no following service. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
