READY, WALTER LAWRENCE Mr. Walter Lawrence Ready of Riverview Avenue, Sussex, NB passed away at home on December 24, 2007 at the age of 92. Born in Sussex Corner on June 28, 1915, he was the son of the late Charles P. and Minnie (Cotter) Ready and was the husband of the late Freda Vivian (Granville), who passed away in 2003. Lawrence is survived by his daughter, Anne Hitchman of Fredericton and his son, Paul of Sussex; as well as several cousins. He was predeceased by his infant brother, Phillip, who passed away in 1918; his brother-in-law, Alvin Granville of Saint John, who passed away in 1963; and by his sister-in-law, Lola Branscombe of Cumberland Bay, who passed away in 2002. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 11:00 am.
