VERNON, MARY (CALVERT) Mary (Gilmore) Vernon passed away at Williams Lake, BC on December 25th, 2007 at the age of 90. She was born on April 11th, 1917 in Tadcaster, York, England the daughter of the late Harold and Ethel (Hildreth) Calvert. Mary worked very hard all of her life as a great cook, and a specialty at a hospital in Norht Bay, ON. After retiring she lived in Fredericton and later moved to William's Lake to be near her family. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Geraldine ; two sons, George and Steven and several grandchildren, also three brothers, Harold (Ellie), William (Ella), Frank (Alma). Predeceased by her husband Ivan and Gerry, a brother, Pete and sisters, Jennie and Ethel. Cremation has taken place at Williams Lake with burial to be in Fredericton next year.
