
MAE H. MCLEAN
MCLEAN, MAE H. The passing of H. Mae McLean of Victoria Corner, Carleton County, NB occurred January 1, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton. Born (1919) in Jacksontown, NB, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Alice (Hopkins) Lawrence. She was a faithful member of the Wilmot Free Will Baptist Church. Mae was predeceased by her husband, Frank; a son, Lawrence; a sister, Louise Ralston; and a brother, Ernest Lawrence. She is survived by the joys of her life: her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Mae cherished her five children: Ina (Floyd Everett), Victoria Corner; Dwain (Joan), Dorene (Bill Alexander), and Darrel (Tanya) - all of Fredericton; and Lois McLean, Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia; also a special niece, Inez (George) MacDougall of Fredericton. Grammie dearly loved her twelve grandchildren: Jerry Everett, Ottawa, ON; Dwight Everett, Hartland; Michael Alexander (Cathy), Saint John; Linda (Everett) Moore, Palmerston, ON; Marilee McLean, Fredericton; Darren Alexander (Sue), Edmonton, AB; Suzanne (Matthew Maxwell), Easton, ME; Vicki (Mark Thompson), Bristol; Kim (Jon LeRoy), Saint John; Janelle (Dan Foreman), Erica McLean, and Juiliana McLean - all of Fredericton.Mae deeply enjoyed her fourteen great grandchildren: Honour and Anna Moore; Aidan, Liam, and Brenna Maxwell; Andrew, Jacob, and Eva Thompson; Ruby and Owen LeRoy; Sabrina Alexander; Thomas and Sophie Leonard and Maggie Alexander. In honour of Mae's life, visitation will take place on Friday, January 4 at The Britton Funeral Home, Hartland from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm; a memorial celebration will be held on Saturday, January 5 at the Hartland Baptist Church at 2:00 pm. Interment (Upper Waterville Cemetery) will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. www.brittonfh.ca
