DUNN, ALICE CLAIRE (BEST) The passing of Alice Claire (Best) Dunn, wife of John E. Dunn, of Island View, NB, occurred on January 9, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 25, 1936 in Crapaud, PE, she was a daughter of Wanda (Gamble) Best and the late Kenneth Best. Claire was a Secretary for the RCMP and Executive Secretary at the National Research Council in Ottawa. Claire is survived by one son, Shawn (Kirsten) of New Zealand; one daughter, Kenda Dunn of Ottawa, ON; grandchildren, Shenna and Nissa; one sister, Gloria Greenlaw (Dale) of St. Stephen, NB and several nieces and nephews. There will be no services by request of the family. Interment will take place at Westmorland Baptist Cemetery, PE at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital - Palliative Care Unit or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
