DICKINSON, ROBERT JASPER With broken hearts the family announces the sudden passing of Robert Jasper Dickison of Fredericton on January 11, 2008 at the age of 55. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Nancy (Gillies); his son, Robby of Toronto; two stepdaughters, Angela (Kevin) Inch of Fredericton and their sons, Mackenzie and Mathew and Lisa (Richard) Dewey of Goose Bay, Labrador and their son, Logan; his mother, Isabel Chalmers of Fredericton; two sisters, Susan Holland of Fredericton and her sons, Peter and Michael and Moyra (Michael) Dziurda and their sons, Mitchel and Curtis. He was predeceased by his father, Avondale "Bus" Dickison. Bob was a businessman for many years and treated his employees and customers like family. He was a kind and gentle man and never spoke an unkind word. Most Sunday mornings were spent having coffee with his boyhood friends and more recently his best time spent was playing with his beloved grandchildren. We will miss him forever. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB, on Sunday, January 13, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, January 14, 2008 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stoke Foundation or charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
