CARROLL, LAWRENCE O. (LARRY) 1929-2008 Passed away peacefully at Humber River Regional Hospital on January 6, 2008. Loving husband to Marge for 56 years. Cherished Dad to 2 sons and 1 daughter. Grandfather to 5. Brother to Ken (deceased) and Jim (Lindsay) and sister to Ruth Allen (Royden). Larry was born in Carroll's Crossing. He had a life long passion for aircraft and flying. His career began at Sturgeon's Air Service in Barker's Point. Then to Mont Laurier Aviation in Quebec and to Ontario working for A.V. Roe, DeHavilland and Orenda Engines for 43 years. At the time of his retirement in 1994 he was a supervisor of Technical Investigations for Orenda. Funeral Service was held at the Westway United Church Etobicoke.
