Joseph Albert Parent passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 09, 2008, at the Union Hospital in Moose Jaw. Albert at the age of 67, beloved husband of Nattie for over 38 years, loving father of Shirley Harrison (Pete), James Parent and Maureen Anderson (Chris), cherished grandfather of Hailey, Kennedy, Parker, Maguire, Averi, Graeme and Emmett. He will be fondly remembered by his sister Helen Zonneveld (Richard), and by his brothers Wilfred (Janet), and Fredrick. He will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law, and friends, but especially by his friends Lloyd Ayerst and Pat Briltz. Albert was born in Willow Bunch SK, in 1941 to Ludger and Victorine. He lived in and around the Assiniboia area from the age of 11, until shortly before his marriage to Nattie of Moose Jaw, where the couple raised their family. He worked at various jobs in Moose Jaw, beginning with the Jackson Bottling Company, but his true passion was working on cars, and he could usually be found under the hood of a Ford. A Prayer Service will be held at the PARKVIEW FUNERAL HOME, on Friday at 5:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at St. Joseph's Church, 1064 -3rd Ave. NW Moose Jaw, at 1:00 p.m. followed by an interment at Rosedale Cemetery.
