WAYE, "VICKI" DANUTA VICTORIA The death of Vicki Waye of Burton, NB occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Tuesday, January 29th, 2008. Born in Poland, she was the daughter of the late Antonina (Sawicka) and Kazinzerz Jankiewicz and wife of Leonard Waye. Vicki enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and lovingly tending her garden. She also loved cooking for family gatherings. She is survived by her husband, Leonard; daughters, Barbara Farvolden (Curt) of Kelowna, BC and Catherine Bowman (Terry) of Edmonton, AB; son, John (Diane) of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren, Jake Farvolden and Rory Waye, Morgan and Caitlin Waye as well as her great-grandchild, Evan Waye. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Thursday, January 31st and Friday, February 1st, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 2nd, 2008 at 2:00 pm in the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ken Weir officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery.
