GAUDET, ARMAND JOSEPH The passing of Armand Gaudet occurred Friday, February 1st, 2008. The husband of Jean (Stennick) (MacDonald) Gaudet, of Oromocto. He was born August 7, 1925 in Trois-Rivieres, PQ; son of the late Joseph and Oselie (Landry) Gaudet. He grew up in Rogersville, NB, and was a Veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a man with a zest for life; unlike any other, and truly enjoyed every moment of his life. He will be greatly missed by his wife Jean; three daughters, Anne (Paul) Merrill of Whitecourt, AB, Denise (Ken) Anderson of Stanley, NB, Michele (Rob) Dunphy of Whitecourt, AB; one son, Roger (Mary) Gaudet of Cross Creek, NB; three step-children, Ralph (Susan) MacDonald of Geary, NB, Verna MacDonald of Geary, NB and Ricky MacDonald of Hanwell, NB; three sisters, Leona Babineau of Moncton, Laurie (Gerry) Hachey of North Port Florida, Stella (Ron) Robinson of Selkirk, Man.; nine grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three step-great grandchildren; as well as, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by his first wife, Mary (March) Gaudet; brother, Ernest Gaudet and sister, Mary Arsenault. Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home (357-5100) on Tuesday, February 5th, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #93 will hold a tribute service at 7 pm on Tuesday. The funeral service will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 6th, 2008 at 11:00 am. Rev. Ken Weir officiating.
